Beriani Gam Johor
The boys have discovered a better place for Biryani GAM than the usual Putrajaya one. It's tastier and cheaper !
Location : Restoran Anje is located in... errr.. OK, you take the Seremban Highway, and exit at UPM. Then head back north towards the Beryl's chocolate factory. On the right, before the factory is a row of sho houses... taraaa !
Can make it within an hour ? (travel + service) : Yeah, if you drive fast enough on the highway.
Decor/Ambience : Not much to write home about. A regular clean kopi tiam stylee restaurant.
Food : Ahhhhh... it makes you thankful you're not a vegetarian. The lamb is pure class. Thick, slighty sweet, fragrant, spicy and not too oily. The chicken's pretty good too, but I always have my GAM's with lamb. The rice is good too, not too heavy.
Price : Wow, much cheaper than Putrajaya GAM. In fact, as far as biryani's go, RM6 with a drink is no contest !
Return Trip ? : Once my arteries have cleared up a bit, I'd clog it with this GAM immediately.
